Each item below is something you can engage us to do as a discrete piece of work, with a fixed fee agreed up front. None of our work involves selling a financial product.
We keep the menu short on purpose. Each service has a clear scope, a clear deliverable, and a clear price. If something falls outside the list, we'll either decline the work or refer you to a specialist who can do it justice.
A two-hour working session covering the eligibility tests, deeming rules, the Pension Supplement, and how your particular asset mix fits the rules. You leave with a one-page summary of your situation and a clear list of what to do next.
We help locate any lost super, request the latest fee and insurance disclosures from each of your existing accounts, and lay out a comparison so you can see what you're paying and for what. We do not recommend or sell a fund — the consolidation decision stays with you.
A written briefing — usually 4 to 6 pages — describing how account-based pensions, minimum drawdown rates, the Work Bonus, the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card and the deeming rules interact for somebody in your bracket. Generic to your situation, not personal advice.
For people 5 to 10 years from stopping work. We walk through a standard 30-point checklist — from beneficiary nominations through to estimated post-retirement expenses — and mark each item green, amber, or red for your circumstances.
A scoped review of the retirement-touching parts of your estate paperwork: super death benefit nominations, EPOA arrangements, and whether your existing will is consistent with both. We do not draft legal documents — we identify gaps and refer you to a solicitor for the drafting.
An optional once-a-year check-in for clients we've worked with before. Updates your one-page snapshot, captures any life events (downsizing, bereavement, grandchildren) and flags any legislation changes that touch your position.
Every engagement — large or small — follows the same five steps. There are no surprises in scope or fee.
15 to 20 minutes. We listen to where you're stuck and tell you whether we can help.
You receive a written, fixed-fee quote with the deliverable described in plain language.
We meet, in person or by video, and do the work together. You see everything as it happens.
We send a short written summary covering what was done, decided and what's next.
If you'd like, schedule an annual review or call us back for a discrete follow-up task.
How much does it cost?
Each service is quoted as a fixed fee after the free phone chat. As a guide, simple paperwork sessions are at the low end and the full Retirement Income Briefing is at the higher end. There are no hourly meters running.
Can my adult child sit in?
Yes — and we encourage it. Many of our clients bring an adult child or trusted friend to the working session. With your written permission, that person can also be copied on the written summary.
What you don't do?
We don't draft wills, prepare tax returns, give personal financial product advice or hold investments on your behalf. Those need a solicitor, accountant, AFSL adviser or trustee respectively, and we'll refer.
Most people start with the Age Pension Walk-Through or the Super Tidy-Up. If you're not sure which is right, just describe your situation in a message and we'll suggest where to begin.
